Shipments of Tea in this Pandemic time

Hello Tea Lovers, hope all is fine with you and your family. As we wade through this drastic times, we pray for the world to unite as one and fight the enemy. We hope and pray for the world to once again stand on it’s feet and move forward. We wish you and your family great health and safety.

Our site is online and accepting orders. Just when the Darjeeling First Flush 2020 tea season commenced, Indian govt. announced a whole country lockdown. Luckily, we were able to buy five new First Flush teas before the lockdown.

Since the lockdown began, we gave all of our staff, leave on pay and the only ones remaining and still working are my wife and me. Know what, all tea orders being received are being packed solely by the two of us. It’s kinda fun packing your teas.

Update June 2020: All orders received are packed and kept ready and the good news about your teas – the lockdown is on phase wise in different states of India, but slowly the post and courier services are opening and we have already started sending slowly. Some delay may occur while the tea parcel is on transit due to Covid-19. We have some very old clients dating back to 2004 and we would like to state that you are in safe hands.

As for us, Darjeeling is safe for the time being. Maybe due the early ban on domestic and international tourists. The ban had begun even before the actual country lockdown was announced. Hence, we believe, we got lucky a bit. My wife and kids have now refined their skills on baking delicious items!
